Professional and Personable

June 23, 2011 - James Williams from PA., I just wanted to say we went out on one of your whale watches today and we are still talking about it! Your staff were not only professional, they were personable. We were more than pleased with the whale sightings (About 6 whales surfaced) and just the trip on the Atlantic Ocean was memorable. They also take the time to give us a history of some of the marine life and after all the sightings, they came down and had us ask as many questions as we wanted. We definetely would reccomend Yankee Fleet to everyone! Well Done!

My family and I had a great time!

October 4th, 2010 - This was our favorite attraction while visiting Massachusetts. Everyone working the boat was very friendly and accomadating. My family and I had a great time!

Dozens of sightings!

November 11th, 2010 - We had pre-bought tickets a couple of months ahead and decided to go at the end of September. The day we reserved turned out to be blowing pretty hard and they called us early in the day to let us know it was cancelled. We went back and forth on rebooking the following day, but decided at the last minute. They were able to accomodate us and are we glad they did! It was a beautiful day and the skipper and crew did their best to make sure we got our money's worth. Dozens of sightings! One humpback came up as close as 50 - 60 feet. We would do it again. Beverages (yes, beer too) and light snacks are available on board. Or, pack a small snack to take along.

A clean, comfortable boat

September 8th, 2010 - A perfect weather day. A clean, comfortable boat. A pleasant, informative crew. A great setting to visit New England's biggest residents. Whales and more whales. They are here to breed, care for their young and, I'm sure, to revisit old haunts. But for how long? Take the time to share this treasure with your family and yourself. Don't let it slip away and someday say, "but I never saw a whale!!!!"

Very informative and fun trip

September 8th, 2010 - Very informative and fun trip. Captain and crew take the time to protect the whales and give those aboard a great experience. We have been boaters for amny years but the naturalist on board was well informed and we learned alot. Gloucester is also a very good stop with good food at the Causway and an easy walk to see the town. A nice stay at the Vista with an oceanview.

Great job, Yankee, we'll hopefully be back for more!

"My daughter and I attended our first Yankee Whale Watch on 8/2 and I have to say, it was the best (and we've been on many!) that we have every been on. Of course, Yankee can't control the sightings, but wow!, we have never seen so many whales in one area...ever!

The staff and narrator ( I wish I could remember his name!) were extremely informative and entertaining. There wasn't a dull moment on the trip! We had such a great time, we drove the hour and a half again the next day to do another watch!

Unfortunately we were not as lucky in the number of sightings that day, and what we did see was considerably far off in the distance, but the crew worked diligently and persistently to get us to the whales and make the trip as worthwhile as they were able to.

Great job, Yankee, we'll hopefully be back for more!"

"My family enjoyed yet another wonderful trip with you - unfortunately it will be the last one for us this year but will be back next year. This was my 4th trip this year - its an amazing experience from ease of booking to sighting the whales. However the trip 8/17 was just awesome, the other trips were brilliant but the sightings that afternoon defied description."
