Excellent start to the season! No cod? No problem with us!! Everyone on this full boat caught fish for the first trip of the year. Mostly haddock and some cusk including the pool winner. Very positive start to the season. We are excited to get out there again Tuesday. Give us a call to reserve your tickets!
We finished off with a bang! The best trip yet this fall thanks to Capt Rob, pilule George, Aaron and of course all our patrons who joined us in 2016. Large Pollock, a bunch of haddock, Hake and Cusk. Thanks to everyone that participated this season. We hope to see you in the spring! Watch for our news letter and the 2017 schedule coming out in a couple of weeks,
Thanks again Capt. Tom O.
Again we were able to keep the fishing coming all day long. Many, site many haddock and everyone taking advantage of the two day bag limit of 30 haddock. Lots of pollock and the usual frustration of many nice cod caught and released. A small halibut and monkfish. Conditions got a little tough on the way home but well worth it.
Tim Macveigh from Stephentown, decease NY was awarded sportsman of the day. Catching this halibut and releasing it. He also caught a nice 25-30 lb cod witch he released and a 20 lb wolf fish that he released. “I had a great time. Thanks capt, see you next time” he said while getting off the boat.
Stylus who caught a nice halibut two weeks ago, comes up with another unique catch, a monk fish.
