Marathon Thursday 9/27/18

Although conditions were less than ideal yesterday we made a great day of it! Some nice pollock and red fish were brought aboard the Yankee Clipper.  They did have to fight off some blue sharks throughout the day, but they did well overall.  Sudden change in weather for today but they are back at it!

Sunday 9/23 – Pollock Fishing!

Very productive day on Sunday aboard the Yankee Clipper for the start of pollock season here at Yankee Fleet!  They brought home lots of pollock, some up to 16 lbs. as well as some huge red fish!  Our fall schedule is Thursdays 5am-5pm, Friday-Sunday 7am-4pm.

Full Day Fishing 9/14

Beautiful day yesterday on the Yankee Clipper! Stellar day of ground fishing.

2 Night Cashes/Fippennies Fishing 9/7-9/9

The two day trip this past weekend went as well as could be expected! First day on Cashes was fantastic, with lots of haddock, cusk and big pollock in the afternoon.  Saturday into Sunday the wind came on strong along with strong tides making Fippennies difficult to fish.  This is when we realized we should have stayed on Cashes but it was too late! Overall a successful last 2 night trip of the 2018 season!
