Wednesday 5/7 – Full Day on the Clipper
Great weather and good fishing, we saw a lot less shorts today. Generally a steady bite all day; we made one stop on anchor and drifted the rest of the day. A few big redfish and cusk in the mix. Experienced and newer anglers on board. Many people caught 5+ fish, some people had quite a bit more and others a few less.
Thursday 5/8 – Marathon on the Clipper
Drifted all day and the first stop was a long drift with a strong bite, some people had 5-8 fish just after the first drift. Fishing tapered off a little toward the tide change, we moved around a bit and found some good bites. Shorts in the mix but healthy size fish in general. Every stop produced fish. Several anglers had limits, others had 10+ keeper haddock, and a handful of people had some lighter counts. High hooks for the day were 20-25 fish when redfish and cusk were included in the count. Great weather again.
Weather got the better of us on Saturday and we couldn’t get trips in.
