Tuesday 5/13 – Full Day on the Yankee Clipper

First day out this week and the weather was great, marine conditions were better than forecasted. Gusts of wind never came in the morning. Slow bite in the morning, the first stop was on anchor and then we switched to drifting. The bite came in waves throughout the day and picked up around 1030/1100. Shorts and cusk in the mix – some stops produced large haddock. Mix of experience on board and everybody kept some fish. High fish counts were 5+ haddock, some newer anglers landed 4+ for the day, and some people weren’t as lucky – but still caught something.
