Time to catch up on fish reports

We fished Tuesday through Sunday last week, mix of open boats and private charters between the Yankee Star and Yankee Clipper plus some 6 pack action on the Yankee Pearl.

Tuesday – Friday last week had an overall steady bite. Some days the bite lasted for a while other days we had to make more moves to keep the fish coming up. Experienced anglers last week were getting 5-10 haddock per person. Cusk is always in the mix and some drifts bring us through some big redfish.

Saturday 5/18 we spent most of the day on anchor with an overall good bite. Sunday 5/19 showed us some strong tides which settled out later in the day and created some better fishing after a slow morning.

We’ve been finding some big haddock including some in the 6-7lb range.

We lost a lot of this week to weather and we’re back out today, the bite today turned on a bit after the morning tide change. We had newer and experienced anglers out today. Most experienced had 5+ fish on the first day out back out after the weather.
