Fishing Reports

We were lucky to get a half day trip in this morning before the storm reached Gloucester!  Anglers pulled up some nice haddock and only a few cod were brought up (and of course released!).  It was a very enjoyable day for all on board the new Yankee Patriot II.

Sunday was a good day although had some slow points.  Thankfully at the last stop the haddock were biting like crazy!  Monday was great and some took home their limit of haddock.

Great marathon trip this week with lots of big haddock and only a few dog fish.

Some big haddock and cusk on board! Of course some smaller ones were thrown back though.

It’s been a great week of fishing! The weather is really starting to warm up here and the fish are loving it just as much as us!

Great 12 of trip of CATCHING! Many anglers took home their limit of haddock today on the marathon.

The past two days were great as usual on the Yankee Clipper with lots of haddock on board!  A beautiful mid-day rainbow made an appearance over Gloucester today.

Great first half day trip!!  They nailed the red fish and pulled up some nice haddock too! Half day trips are perfect for everyone, even if you’ve never been!

Another great overnight fishing trip with Captain Matt.  Everyone got their limits of haddock and there was some pollock mixed in.  Most importantly….ANOTHER HALIBUT!!! 45″ and 48 lbs. caught by Dennis Manning.

Sunday’s trip went very well considering a pretty full boat! Action most of the time with about 5-8 keepers per person.
