Choppy seas made for a slow ride out on this mornings half day trip but everyone caught some haddock. We made 3 stops catching some quality haddock along with a few throwback cod, whiting, small hake and a couple sculpin.

We made the best of the morning weather on todays am half day trip. We anchored 3 times with a steady pick of fish caught. With only a few haddock hooked being short, we saw a mix of cod and small hake with only 3 dogfish caught.

Good bite on yesterdays afternoon half day. We anchored 3 times catching a mix of keeper haddock and pollock, with a couple large redfish and some cod we returned to the water.

Great morning half day trip today on the patriot 2. We drifted all morning catching a variety of species; most of which were keeper haddock. Along with the haddock we saw only 2 dogfish, a few small throwback cod, a handful of keeper redfish, some small whiting, and a few other non-retainable species as well….

Caught mostly keeper haddock on this mornings half day trip. With 2 stops on anchor in light chop and sunny skies. The dogfish were few and far between with haddock the primary catch, we also caught and released a couple cod fish.

Although the weather was in full cooperation this afternoon half day trip; the dogfish were voracious. We made 5 drifts each time catching haddock for a few minutes before being overrun by dogfish. With halved haddock and occasionally a redfish a common sight.

The friends that fish charter was action packed with lots of nice haddock, a whole bunch of super sized redfish, and several big cusk and pollock!
