The morning bite was slow yesterday aboard the Yankee Patriot II, but as the wind died and seas subsided the haddock began to bite and the smiles started to show! The afternoon consisted of some keeper haddock as well as some throw back cod and mackerel.

Great morning of half day fishing today on the Yankee Patriot II.  Plenty of keeper haddock were stuffed into burlap bags.  They fished through a strong tide with a few throw back cod and short haddock.  They enjoyed a nice breeze and and lots of sun out there!

Great day of fishing Tuesday! The fish very very hungry!  

Plenty of keeper haddock on todays full day fishing trip on the Yankee Patriot II.  Amidst the rain showers and some catch and release cod fish, they drifted all morning encountering schools of red fish and keeper pollock but they continued to pluck away at the haddock throughout the day.

Captain Aaron reported perfect weather yesterday for the marathon trip.  Morning started slow on Stellwagen Bank with the incoming tide.  The hauled the anchor and made a move on the tide change.  They spent the outgoing tide drifting again and again over schools of red fish, haddock, and pollock with a few cusk and cod coming up as well.

Morning was a little slow yesterday on the Yankee Patriot II due to the outgoing tide, but they pulled up a few cusk and haddock during that time anyway.  Fishing picked up after tide change, and humpabacks feeding nearby all day! Finshed out the day strong with some quality haddock as well as some cod (which of course went back!).

The Yankee Patriot II had their first trip of the season on Monday! It was a great day, the haddock cooperated for them and they also had some cusk and mackerel on board.  

Most anglers caught their limit of 12 haddock each on yesterdays marathon!
