Sunday 5/1/2022 Full Day Trip

We never quite got a slamathon going on Saturday.  Around 11 am they were biting real good and that was the best part of the day, but it never quite broke wide open.  We picked away at them the rest of the day.

Saturday 4/30/2022 Full Day Trip

Saturday, the rough sea conditions and tide made for a slow start to the day.  Conditions and subsequently the bite improved as the day went on.

Wednesday 4/27/2022 Full Day Trip

First drop in the morning we had a Haddock slamathon going.  It lasted an hour and a half.  We picked away at them the rest of the day.  Several anglers limited out.

Monday 4/25 Full Day Fishing

On Monday’s trip experienced anglers averaged 10 to 15 keepers.  Newer anglers averaged 4 to 7.

Sunday 4/24/2022

The big spring time April Haddock bite continued on Sunday!   6/0 hooks on 50 pound test mono leaders were met with endlessly hungry Haddock drop after drop.  The bite did slow down in the last hour of the trip but many anglers had their limit at that point.

Saturday 4/23/2022 Full Day Fishing

On the Yankee Clipper today the  bite went from sub normal to wildly intense as the tide changed from outgoing to incoming around 10:30 AM.   While not everyone limited out, everyone did catch a LOT of haddock.  We also caught and released a 30 inch Halibut.

The Haddock were hungry today! Boat limit secured. Big bags of fillets!

Marathon 4/21/2022

Thursday it took 4 attempts to land on a big enough school of haddock.  But when we did it was a fish a cast for over 3 hours in one spot.

Monday 4/18/2022 Full Day Trip

Haddock fishing was a bit slower today but we got dialed in good at the end of the day. We are finding haddock have moved from the top of the bank to the edges. They are feeding on clams and baby scallops and other crustaceans. This should continue for a while before the mackerel show…

Saturday 4/16/2022 Full Day Trip

The weather was rough on Saturday but the haddock were very hungry!  First stop was a 2 and a half hour non-stop feeding frenzy.

April 9-10, 2022

Captain Rob was on the fish all weekend. Plenty of haddock and healthy cod. Sundays pool winning fish was tied between a large cusk and cod. Capt./mate Aaron recommends a 16oz. sinker, 2 hooks, and our clams for bait. We still have space on Wednesdays trip! Come catch some cod!
