Overnight Trip Report – Platts on the Yankee Star August 10/11

Fantastic fishing this trip, we had a good night bite. Mixed bag of haddock, pollock, cusk, and big squid for an hour or so.

The sun came up with a tide change and we started drifting for the rest of the trip. Daylight fishing was GREAT; non stop pollock, fair amount of haddock with some 7lbs+, cusk/redfish mixed in, and some anglers fished the whole trip with zero dogfish. Fish counts ranged from 25 to 50+, and the end of the trip was giving anglers some monster pollock.

Next trip is August 31 – September 1 with space available.
