Saturday 10/3 Full Day Fishing

Great bite on todays all day open boat. We caught and spotted a variety of species throughout the trip. With pods of harbor porpoise crossing our bow on the ride out, bluefin tuna were spotted chasing bait on the surface numerous times, and a sea turtle (possibly a hawksbill). We anchored up 3 times in the morning, as the wind diminished and the tide turned we settled for drifting. Although we contended with dogfish most of the day, we continued to hook haddock, cod, and cusk with a few pollock and macrel mixed in.
