Yankee Clipper – 4/17 12 hour marathon

The day started off with a great bite on anchor that lasted about 2 hours over two stops. The bite cooled off a little bit, but picked back up again in a drift. The fish were biting harder again in the afternoon but more shorts in the mix. A handful of experienced anglers got their haddock limit and many others had at least 6-7+ haddock with cusk and redfish in the mix.

The Friday 4/18 12 hour private charter on the Yankee Clipper had a solid bite of haddock to start the day then hit some redfish during slack tide. Captain Matt kept some haddock coming up and found a hungry school of pollock later in the day that were biting HARD, a mix of shorts and keepers. The charter caught over 300+ fish between 20 anglers.

The Yankee Star on 4/18 Full Day had a mix of experienced and newer anglers. A good bite of haddock in the afternoon with some double headers coming up and cusk in the mix. Experienced anglers had 7-8 haddock and some other keeper fish in the mix.
