Wednesday 4/23 – Full Day on the Yankee Clipper

Consistent bite all day on drifts. A little slower than last week with shorts in the mix but everyone was getting bites. A mix of experienced and newer anglers on board, many people had 5+ fish and great weather.

Thursday 4/24 – Marathon on the Clipper

Experienced anglers had 8-10 fish, and some people weren’t as lucky with the bite. The marathon last week showed more action. Fish were generally biting at the beginning of each stop and we had to stay on the move to maintain a bite with most drifts lasting about 30 min with short travel time between spots. A mix of keepers, shorts, some redfish, and a few pollock – some drifts produced some healthy size 4-5 lb haddock. Great weather all day and a mix of experienced and newer anglers on board again.
