Wednesday 4/30 – Full Day on the Yankee Clipper

Overall steady, spent most of the day on anchor with a mix of experience on the boat. Fish at every stop, but never had an absolute feeding frenzy. Experienced anglers had 5+ keepers others just had a few, and some cusk and redfish in the mix. Nice size keepers in a few of the stops.

Thursday 5/1 – Marathon on the Yankee Clipper

Really good fishing all afternoon after the morning tide change and great weather. Drifted all day until the last two stops, some nice long drifts with very steady action. Half the boat had 10+ keeper haddock with some people hitting limits. Shorts, cusk, and redfish in the mix.

Friday 5/2 – Marathon Private Charter

The weather made this day challenging. The wind exceeded the forecast and the tide was running pretty hard, tough to get a good bite on anchor in the weather. Fish at every stop more shorts and cod then we like to see(until we can keep them) but keeper haddock were coming up. We were able to drift in the afternoon which created some better results, and some larger redfish. The boat covered some ground and areas that had a great bite on Thursday just didn’t deliver the same results.
