Very pleasant calm day on the water, bite was a little slow at times with slack tide in the middle of the day. Anglers caught some choice fish when the bite was on.

Haddock fishing will have trends that last from days to weeks.  We had some huge haddock trending Thursday and Friday.  But on Saturday the water was flat calm with no movement and the area where the big ones have been was not producing vey well.  On to the next trend…

On Tuesday the Haddock were biting good.  The first stop had wild action with a bite every drop.

Fridays half day trips were Very successful!  For half day fishing it was about as good as it gets…  until tomorrow!

On the Big Time Adventures charter there was a lot of action every stop.  Too much action really, because a lot of it was small pollock.  But we got some nice ones too as well as a lot of big Haddock and Cusk.

We are still fishing defensive areas where dogfish are less prevalent.  The Haddock fishing over all has been very productive.  However, on Thursday we did catch more of thr delicious Ocean Perch than our normal ratio.  We also returned more shorts than normal.
